Abstract

ECONOMICS OF PROCESSING OF GROUNDNUT BY DIFFERENT PROCESSING METHODS

ABSTRACT

Processing is essential function in oilseeds' marketing. A mayor portion of marketed surplus of groundnut is utilized for oil extraction, and remaining quantity is consumed in the form of raw, roasted and processed kernel. Processing cost is a major cost item which significantly affects the total cost in oilseeds' marketing. In this chapter, economics of processing of groundnut oilseed by different processing methods available in study area has been estimated and discussed. This article contains the brief information about the Economics of processing of groundnut by different processing methods.
